Porphyre vert de Grèce qualité II
Ce porphyre est plus rare car la pâte a eu un refroidissement plus rapide, ce qui explique la petite taille des cristaux de feldspath.
C’est logique, car il se situait en effleurement du site historique. Contrairement aux autres cristaux plus développés en forme d’étoile ou de caractères chinois, qui provenait de zones plus profondes, toujours sur le même site. On constate également une couleur d’un vert plus profond qui résulte d’une plus grande concentration d’oxyde fer (hématite). Cette qualité est déclinée avec plusieurs couleurs utilisées sur des monuments et du statuaire antiques. Pour plus d’informations sur la disponibilité de ces qualités atypiques, nous contacter.
